An investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances that led to the shock.

Around 10 a.m. this Sunday, a mother was hit by a car, with her baby in a stroller, in Annecy, in Haute-Savoie.

The 33-year-old was moving on a sidewalk in the old town when the vehicle mowed them down.

According to the first elements reported by the

Dauphiné Libéré

, the driver could have swerved to avoid a car stopped at a pedestrian crossing and would have overturned the victims before finishing her race balanced on a hedge of bush, at the foot of a building .

The mother, taken in charge by the emergency services and suffering from several traumas, was hospitalized, just like her baby, slightly injured.

The driver of the car, unscathed from the shock, was heard by the gendarmes in charge of the investigation.
