While many so-called "non-essential" businesses had to close their doors on the first day of re-containment in 16 French departments, traders were in despair.

They are not the only ones, since the inhabitants are also destabilized by these new restrictions, as Europe 1 was able to see in Évreux.

"I feel like I'm being punished"

In Évreux, in front of an open bakery, a queue runs along the lowered gate of a clothing store where, from her chocolate shop, Sabrina looks without understanding her other shoe store full of new arrivals, but empty of customers.

"I have the impression of being punished, I don't understand. Closing, not closing ... And I see that people are leaving", she said at the microphone of Europe 1. "There are people on the roads, there are people on the sidewalks. There are people all over the place and I think people are fed up. "

In total, Sabrina could lose 20,000 euros in turnover, but it is impossible to blame the inhabitants of Évreux, who are also wary of the windows.

"There is really a two-speed confinement", reacts a resident.

"The hairdressers are open, the shoemakers are open, other small shops are not open and that's what we have a hard time understanding."

The fear of becoming "robots"

At least, the inhabitants benefit from the authorization to go out into the open air and without time limit.

In the square, groups of friends maintain the social link and their habits.

"I think the 10 km is good because it allows you to walk in the forest without any particular constraints, and if we have to get out of the way a little, we will do it a little. Otherwise, we become robots" , launches a group of friends.

"It's still complicated to take a blow on the head like that, it's hard. A year later, to repeat the same story, it's terrible, terrible", measures another inhabitant.

Brake, without locking up.

Even if the third path chosen by the government still leaves some liberties, it worries the Ebroic traders.

To help them, volunteers have already offered to make home deliveries for closed stores.
