Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - After Dortmund is not allowed to close its daycare centers and schools because of the corona pandemic, the mayor of the Ruhr area city has sharply criticized the state government.
"The state government still does not seem to be ready to react to the changed dynamics of the pandemic," said Dortmund city hall chief Thomas Westphal (SPD) on Saturday.
"We are being pressed into a legal framework that has long since ceased to fit with the infection process."
The days of attendance in schools before Easter increased "the risk of the family becoming infected".
