The gendarmes of the Rennes search section found the lifeless body of Magali Blandin during the night from Friday to Saturday.

The 42-year-old mother of four had been missing since February 11.

That day, she had been seen near her apartment in Montfort-sur-Meu, a town north-west of Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine).

Intense searches have been carried out by the gendarmes for more than a month.

But it was the hearing of her husband, from whom she had been separated since September, that allowed investigators to find the body.

As of Thursday, the prosecution had indicated that a "criminal project" was now privileged.

The latter had been taken into custody Thursday, at the same time as his neighbor.

On the same day, three people of Georgian origin were indicted for murder in an organized gang, without knowing the outlines of their intervention.

These people had been taken into police custody as part of an investigation into an alleged extortion attempt of which Magali Blandin's husband was said to have been a victim.

The latter was presented to a judge on Saturday.

The public prosecutor Philippe Astruc is holding a press point this Saturday at 6.30 p.m.
