In this earthquake, in Sendai City and Ishinomaki City in Miyagi Prefecture, the magnitude of the'Five River' was observed, which can destroy buildings such as cracks in walls.



In Fukushima Prefecture and parts of Iwate Prefecture, vibrations of magnitude 5 or higher continued for several minutes.



In addition, a 1m high tsunami warning was issued along the coast of Miyagi Prefecture.



The tsunami was predicted twice every 20 minutes, but the epicenter was 60 km deep, and it was found that there was no damage to the port and the coast.



TEPCO said there were no reports of abnormalities found at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, where the nuclear accident occurred.



However, the operation of the Tohoku Shinkansen was temporarily suspended, and in some areas of Miyagi Prefecture, slopes collapsed, and some households suffered power outages.
