Despite the brutal bloody suppression of the Myanmar military, small guerrilla protests have continued throughout Myanmar to protest coups.

According to local media and foreign media, dozens to thousands of protesters in Myanmar's second city, Mandalay and other regions, screamed for overthrowing dictatorship and restoring democracy.

In particular, when armed forces and police approach, the protesters hurriedly disbanded and then reassembled to continue the protests, which did not lead to violence.

However, in Yangon, Myanmar's largest city, one person was killed by police shooting, local media reported.

In Mandalay, Reuters reported that police fired rubber bullets and a vehicle struck protesters, injuring several people.

Foreign media say it is creating an atmosphere of terror as Myanmar military police are running around, threatening civilians in their homes with guns or forcing them to demolish barricades on the streets.

In addition, in the Sagaing area where residents recently attacked the police, hundreds of military policemen declared retribution and raided private houses, and thousands of residents were known to have evacuated.

In Myanmar, since the coup on the 1st of last month, military and police have fired live ammunition at peaceful protesters, and it is said that 238 people have been killed so far.
