But behavior at a demo that does not observe the Corona rules and willfully accept the risk of infection is not a meaningful expression of free expression, but highly negligent and irresponsible, ”said the bishop.

Cohesion is the order of the day: "From our point of view, cohesion means sticking to the corona rules until there is enough vaccine for everyone and dealing with the social consequences together.

According to police estimates, more than 20,000 people demonstrated against the Corona containment measures on Saturday in Kassel.
The legally confirmed conditions of the city, which had actually only allowed 6000 participants on a double seat in the periphery, were massively disregarded.
Many participants did not adhere to the requirement to wear mouth and nose protection.
During an illegal demonstration through the city center, there were violent clashes with counter-demonstrators and the police.
