The second session of the China-U.S. high-level strategic dialogue officially begins

　　At around 19:45 on March 18, local time, the second session of the China-US High-level Strategic Dialogue officially started in Anchorage, Alaska.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Chinese delegation led by Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee, and State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi had already met with the U.S. delegation led by U.S. Secretary of State Brinken and President’s National Security Affairs Assistant Sullivan. The first meeting was held.

This China-US high-level strategic dialogue is the first high-level contact between China and the U.S. after the first New Year's Eve call.
