Berlin / Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - In Saxony-Anhalt, the seven-day value for new corona infections has increased further, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).

The value reached 110.6 on Friday, according to the RKI's dashboard in the morning.

The previous day the incidence was 107 and on Wednesday 105.3.

For the sixth day in a row, Saxony-Anhalt has exceeded the 100 mark for new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and for seven days.

Within one day, the health authorities in Saxony-Anhalt sent the RKI 594 new infections within one day, as the dashboard showed.

The nationwide seven-day incidence was given as 95.6.

According to the RKI, seven districts in Saxony-Anhalt exceeded the 100 incidence on Friday morning: These were the districts of Stendal (108.8), Jerichower Land (112.7), Börde (103.0), Harz (138.8), Wittenberg (104.8), the Burgenlandkreis (196.3) and the independent city of Halle (170.5).
