Various corona-compliant actions are planned for this, said a spokeswoman for Fridays for Future.
In Halle, a human chain is to form in the city center at 1 p.m.
The spokeswoman emphasized that people should keep a distance of two meters and wear mouth and nose protection.
In Magdeburg, the activists are planning several rallies under the motto #NoMoreEmptyPromises from 2 p.m.
The protests are said to be planned worldwide.
The aim is to draw attention to the consequences of massive CO2 emissions and other environmental pollution, it said.
