Lüneburg (dpa / lni) - After a month-long tattoo break, the tattoo studios in Germany are reopened almost everywhere.

«The regulations are very confusing

.

We come under body-hugging services and are on an equal footing with cosmetics, ”said Stefan Köster from the Association of German Organized Tattooists (DOT) of the German Press Agency.

"Everyone is open, except for Bavaria," says the man from Frankfurt.

After a forced break of four months, things started again in most countries on March 8th.

For many colleagues, the financial situation is difficult, they have waited a long time for promised help.

Some would have had to take other jobs to support their families.

The failed meetings can hardly be made up for: "I can't tattoo around the clock," says the man from Frankfurt.

In addition, the prices for hygiene items such as disposable gloves have skyrocketed.

The Corona requirements did not pose any particular difficulties for the tattoo studios that were open.

At Dirk Sauer from Batlands Tattoo in Lüneburg, only one customer is allowed to enter the small studio at a time.

Masks are always required, and he disinfects his hands dozens of times a day.

The demand from regular customers is great.

"I'm afraid of another lockdown," says the 49-year-old.

"It annoys me, that's my livelihood."

Why are hairdressers better regarded than his branch?

"I can't understand why they were allowed to open earlier."

At the moment it is still said at the inconspicuous shop: «We can stab again».
