The son of a Korean victim in the Atlanta shootings in the United States strongly opposed claims that the shooter's motive was "sex addiction."
Hyeonjeong Grant's son, Randy Park, who was killed in the ``Gold Spa'' where the killer shot the second time, told the Daily Beast of the US internet media that the investigative authorities determined the motive for the crime of the shooter Robert Allen Long, not racial hatred, but sex addiction. He expressed his anger as "bullshit" for appearing to be looking at it.
Mr. Park said to Long's family, "I want to ask what the hell did you teach him?" "You taught him something bad, and you have to take the responsibility."
At a briefing as a result of the initial investigation on the 17th, the Atlanta police showed that they did not view the case as a hate crime, stating that Long may have fallen into sex addiction and it is too early to judge it as a hate crime.
Criticism about this rose, and the next day, he announced that he would not rule out the application of hate crime charges to Long.
Park said that her mother had worked hard to raise herself and her younger brother by immigrating to the United States after teaching as an elementary school in Korea.
"My mother did what she had to do here in America," Park said. "My mother was a single mother who devoted her entire life to raising two children."
Park confessed about the difficult situation of living after her mother died and requested support through the online fundraising site'Go Fund Me'.
Park said, "There are only me and my younger brother in the United States, and my family in Korea cannot come."
"To be honest, I can't be sad for a long time," he added. "I have to find a way for me and my younger brother to live in the future."
