Britain's top diplomat responded with clear words to Brussels' latest threat to ban the export of vaccines.
"Normally the United Kingdom and the European Union stand together when countries with a less democratic self-image pursue irresponsible policies," accused Foreign Minister Dominic Raab of EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen of an almost dictatorial approach in the dispute over scarce vaccines.
A dispute that now threatens to escalate further.
