SVT Nyheter Blekinge has managed to reach twelve of the Moderates' seventeen politicians in the regional group to ask how they view the crisis solution that the county association's chairman Roger Fredriksson communicated on Wednesday.

No one today expresses open concern or criticism of the content of Fredriksson's plan.

- A completely okay solution, we believe in this, says replacement Britt Kilsäter.

Are you behind this yourself?

- Yes, it is very important to move forward with our mission.

Member Iréne Ahlstrand Mårlind has the same opinion:

- We are working forward now and I am pleased that we have managed to resolve the conflict.

Regional Council on vacation

The protracted struggle within the Moderates has led to major frictions within the ruling Alliance bloc - but also within its own party group.

Recently, the chairman of the health and medical care committee, Emma Stjernlöf, was stopped from participating in the internal party work, but after the announcement yesterday, the order seems to have been restored - at least temporarily.

At the same time, the regional councilor Lennarth Förberg, who has taken a holiday to recover, has received criticism from both other group leaders in the Alliance and from Stjernlöf himself.

Roger Fredriksson has chosen to use the word "roadmap" for the efforts that are now being made in order to keep the party group together.

- I have no other picture than that Lennarth and Emma should be able to work together, although it certainly requires some internal work to make it work, he explained to SVT Nyheter Blekinge on Wednesday.

SVT spoke late Wednesday night with the regional councilor Lennarth Förberg himself:

- I have never had any personal conflict with Emma but have represented the moderate group's decision.

Now the group has re-evaluated Emma and then I find myself in that decision.
