Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - A 36-year-old man who is said to have sexually exploited and abused his underage stepdaughter has been arrested at Frankfurt Airport.
The federal police arrested the man after a flight from Brussels on Wednesday evening, according to a statement.
According to the information on Thursday, the 36-year-old was wanted by the French authorities via an international arrest warrant because he had not appeared for a hearing on the alleged acts.
He should be brought before the judge on Thursday.
The 36-year-old is alleged to have sexually acted on a minor under the age of 15.
The allegation came from 2013 and related to his stepdaughter, who was between ten and 13 years old at the time of the offenses, it said.
