Lemgo (AP) - The handball players of the SC DHfK Leipzig have received the second defeat in a row in the Bundesliga.

On Thursday evening, the team of trainer André Haber lost to TBV Lemgo with 23:28 (12:13).

The best throwers from Leipzig were Patrick Wiesmach and Marko Mamic with four hits each.

National player Philipp Weber was without a goal.

With 21:19 points, the SC DHfK slipped to tenth place in the classification.

The Leipziger only convinced in the initial phase.

They quickly led 4-0 and only conceded their first goal after six and a half minutes.

Towards the end of the first half, however, Lemgo got stronger and stronger and took the lead for the first time shortly before the break.

In the second round, the hosts started with eight goals within nine minutes and thus earned a five-goal cushion (21:16).

The people of Leipzig did not have the means to get within reach again.
