During the violence, a police officer who tried to intervene was injured.

Tuesday evening, a 53-year-old father was arrested in Saint-Priest, near Lyon, after attacking his 16-year-old daughter.

The 15-year-old brother of the teenager was also arrested for the same facts, we learned from the Lyon police.

At around 9.15 p.m. that evening, police stopped a young girl who was in a car with a friend.

With the curfew time passed, officials alerted the teenager's parents to come and pick her up.

But upon their arrival, the father of the young girl and her brother were violent and attacked the young girl and the man who was accompanying her, under the gaze of the police.

One of them tried to intervene but received a blow and was injured in the shoulder.

He underwent a 21-day ITT, indicates the security of the Rhône.

Placed in custody, the father and his son explained that they wanted to do battle with the man found alongside the teenager and assured to have only jostled the police officer who prevented them from doing so.

The father must be referred to the Lyon judicial court on Thursday and his son to the minors' prosecutor's office, the police added.
