A number of fans chose to blame a player in the Belgian national team after the new injury of Real Madrid player Eden Hazard, and the announcement of his absence for another weeks from the royal club.

Real Madrid announced that Hazard was suffering from a muscle injury, and reports said that the recovery period could reach 4 weeks, which means that the player will miss crucial confrontations for the team as the season approaches its end.

Press reports in Spain quoted information confirming that Hazard's repeated injuries were due to his having to re-adapt his running method to avoid the pain that has been associated with him since undergoing an ankle surgery in 2019.

And that suffering began with the injury suffered by Hazard on November 29, 2019 during the confrontation between Real Madrid and French club Paris Saint-Germain in the European Champions League, and the injury came after interference by defender Thomas Monier, Hazard's colleague in the Belgian national team.

After the recent injury of Hazard, a number of followers attacked Monier through his accounts on the communication sites, accusing him of causing Hazard's continuous suffering.

The defender, who currently plays for German club Borussia Dortmund, was forced to disable comments on his accounts;

To avoid the attack launched by fans last Tuesday.

Monier had confirmed - in previous statements - that he had not caused Hazard's injury, and said in statements carried by the Belgian newspaper, Le Soir, that the Real Madrid player was injured after contacting him.
