She noted that the course of the current administration will differ from the previous one. 

"We will be straightforward, and we will act directly in those areas where there are issues of concern to us," - quoted by Psaki TASS.

According to her, Washington continues to review its policy towards Moscow in areas where it "continues to have issues of concern."

At the same time, she stressed that there are areas where countries can work together, citing as an example the extension of the Treaty on Measures to Further Reduce and Limit Strategic Offensive Arms.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov was invited to Moscow for consultations to analyze what to do and where to move in the context of relations with the United States.

On March 17, the US Department of Commerce expanded export restrictions on Russia.

The new measures will affect exports related to national security, and a number of exemptions for aviation and space will be valid only until September 1.

Also, the US State Department added Russia to the list of countries for which the export and import of weapons is completely prohibited.
