At the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station of TEPCO, there were a series of voices from both the ruling and opposition parties asking TEPCO's responsibility for the broken equipment for detecting intruders such as terrorists. Questions and answers will be held by inviting them as witnesses.

At the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo Electric Power Company in Niigata Prefecture, it was found that multiple facilities for detecting intruders such as terrorists had been broken since March last year. I apologized at the committee.

Regarding this, both the ruling and opposition parties have pointed out that "the trust in the nuclear power plant will be further damaged" and criticized that "it is extremely regrettable and cannot be overlooked", and there are a number of voices asking TEPCO's management responsibility.

In the Diet, a joint examination committee of the Economic and Industrial Committee of the House of Representatives and the Special Committee for Nuclear Problems Investigation was held on the 18th, and President Kobayakawa and Chairman Sarada of the Nuclear Regulation Authority were invited as references to discuss the management system. Both the ruling and opposition parties have decided to do it.

On the other hand, regarding the violation of foreign capital restrictions of the satellite broadcasting related company "Tohokushinsha", the explanations of both sides differed on the 17th, whether or not the Tohokushinsha reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications when it grasped the possibility of the violation. In a question and answer session of the House of Councilors, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications explained that the section chief in charge, who claimed that the Tohokushinsha side was on vacation, did not take vacation and went to work.

Opposition parties have also expressed their request to summon witnesses from the presidents of Tohokushinsha, and it is expected that discussions between the ruling and opposition parties will continue.
