According to reports, Kurz held a working meeting with some European leaders on the uneven distribution of vaccines on the same day in the Austrian capital Vienna. Leaders of Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Slovenia attended the meeting, and leaders of Croatia and Latvia participated in the meeting via video.

Kurz said at a press conference after the meeting, "I think it is important to find an adjustment mechanism with (European Commission President) Von der Lein and (European Council President) Michel."

Kurtz said that due to the current uneven distribution of vaccines in the EU, some countries may complete vaccination between early May and mid-May, while other countries may take 6 to 10 more weeks.

He pointed out, "We think this is a problem. I think it will cause tension within the EU and will not be understood by Europeans because we said that all Europeans will have equal opportunities to get vaccines."

Regarding the details of the adjustment mechanism, Kurtz did not disclose, but said that the leaders of the European Commission and the European Council are working hard for this.
