A series of '' foreign opponents '', including Russia, tried to interfere in the last American presidential elections, won by Joe Biden. This is what we read in a declassified report released by the US National Intelligence Directorate. The objective of the interference, it says, was to '' denigrate Joe Biden and the Democratic Party '' as well as '' support former US President Donald Trump '' and '' undermine the confidence of the population in the electoral process and exacerbate socio-political divisions in the United States ''.
