Cannes Film Festival: Spike Lee chosen as president of the jury

March 16, 2021 American director Spike Lee will chair the jury of the 74th Cannes Film Festival in July.
The organizers announced it.
Spike Lee was supposed to preside last year, but the pandemic prevented the review from taking place.
"His enthusiasm and his passion for cinema have given us a huge boost of energy to prepare for the great Festival that everyone has been waiting for. The party will be fantastic, we simply can't wait!" Said General Delegate Thierry Frémaux.
Meanwhile, preparations are underway with a large number of films on display by the selection committee for the edition from 6 to 17 July on the Croisette: "These 12 summer days will be a celebration of art and creativity, and full of long-awaited meetings.
