Cologne (dpa) - Beep, beep, beep, the bull loved you: Pop singer Guildo Horn (58) received too few audience votes and therefore had to take off his mask under which he had participated in the show.

It was a bull in American football gear.

As it turned out, the entertainer always wore the clearest indication of his true identity on his head during his appearances.

There were two massive horns - apparently an allusion to the name horn.

The name of the pop singer, who had achieved seventh place for Germany at the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in 1998 with his song “Guildo hat euch lieb”, had been considered a hot tip for the muscular animal even before it was exposed.

The advice team made up of Ruth Moschner (44), Rea Garvey (47) and Katrin Bauerfeind (38) also tipped him off.

Other wild theories - about moderator Florian Silbereisen (39) - were discarded.

Horn had to acknowledge: "My goodness, you also know everything!"

In “The Masked Singer”, well-known people sing under elaborate costumes and try to disguise their true identity.

The bull from Trier - Horn's birthplace - flew out of the show shortly before the finale.
