Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Unknowns attacked the house of the chairman of the World Medical Association, Frank Ulrich Montgomery, in Hamburg-Blankenese on Tuesday night.

At the scene of the crime, remains of Christmas tree balls were found, which were apparently filled with paint and thrown against the house from the street, the police said on Tuesday.

First the "Hamburger Abendblatt" reported.

It is still unclear who is behind the crime.

The state security is switched on.

Montgomery is currently often present in the media because of the corona pandemic and is considered a proponent of a rather restrictive line.
