Dresden (dpa / sn) - According to a survey, the two major Saxon cities of Dresden and Leipzig rank in the middle of the most bicycle-friendly cities in Germany.

That comes from the current bicycle climate test of the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC).

In the nationwide comparison group of 14 cities with more than 500,000 inhabitants, Leipzig ranks fifth with a grade of 3.85, and Dresden sixth with 4.02.

Chemnitz landed in the category of cities with 200,000 to 500,000 inhabitants with a 4.18 in 15th place out of 26, as the data from the ADFC on Tuesday show.

Across Germany, according to the information, 225 639 people took part in the ADFC survey.
