The national leadership of the PP has stopped "irregular payments" of membership fees in

Seville

, at the gates of the party's provincial congress.

In

Genoa they

denounce that there has been a wave of "regularizations" of unpaid fees by those related to the candidacy of

Juan Ávila

, who is mayor of

Carmona

and close to the president of the

Junta de Andalucía

, Juanma Moreno.

In fact, Ávila is one of the militants who have regularized his situation to be able to attend and vote in the Seville congress.

On March 5, he paid the installments corresponding to 2018, 2019 and 2020. In his case, correctly, according to Genoa, where they report that there has been a flood of installment payments through account deposits or from an ATM .

Given the impossibility of controlling their origin, they argue, on Friday they limited payments to bank transfer.

It must be remembered that, in order to vote in congress, you must be up to date with the payment of the fees.

From February 23 to March 13 at 8:00 p.m. the time was established to regularize the militancy situation.

In Genoa they assure that, in many cases, a single person has entered the amount of "dozens of affiliates" and without providing the DNI of the represented persons.

And this, in the opinion of the national leadership of the PP, is "irregular" since it does not meet the standards of "traceability" and "transparency" that they demand for the territorial renewal of the party.

The race to control Seville has faced

Virginia Pérez

, current provincial president of the PP, and Ávila, who is the catalyst posed by the leadership of the

Andalusian

PP

.

Pérez was a bet from Moreno, but now he does not have his support.

The division of the

popular

of this province is remarkable.

Not in vain, Pérez accelerated the convocation of the provincial congress to March 27 and caught the ruling party off guard, who demanded to postpone the date.

As a result, Pérez has more than 1,328 and Ávila, 271. Therefore, the candidacy of Virginia Pérez has six times more official support at the moment than that of Juan Ávila.

The two comply with the minimum of 90 guarantees that the statutes require to be able to present themselves to the presidency of the PP of Seville.

"Not even accepting all those who have massively regularized, would be close" to the support of Virginia Pérez, say sources close to the continuing candidate.

The national leadership of the PP sent a lawyer to Seville for the "suspicions" of irregularity and closed the income on account and at the cashier and only allowed to regularize the fees by transfer.

This was done, they say, to give greater transparency and "maximum traceability" to the process.

Why?

"By not having proof of what money that was" that the affiliates were paying on behalf of other co-religionists in a

Banco Sabadell

branch,

which expedited the process.

Even so, they say, the pattern that a single person has paid the fees of "dozens" of affiliates has continued to repeat itself.

From the Andalusian PP and from the candidacy of Juan Ávila they denounce, for their part, a strategy to prevent many militants of

the Popular Party of Seville

from exercising their right to vote in the primaries in which Ávila and Virginia Pérez will face each other and , indirectly, the regional address of Juanma Moreno and the national address of Pablo Casado.

Sources of the candidacy of the mayor of Carmona denounce that from the direction of the PP of Seville orders were given at the end of last week to the bank in which the training has its accounts to block the income of the militants who wanted to catch up of their quotas, an essential requirement to be able to participate in the internal process.

These sources highlighted that they have a notarial act that would attest that the prohibition of income or transfers to the account of the PP in Seville came from the governing bodies of the party led by Virginia Pérez with the ultimate aim of subtracting voters from the alternative candidacy supported by Genoa.

It is, said the sources consulted, one more irregularity in the "foul play" that they have already denounced from the surroundings of Ávila, who came to warn last week that this congressional process could lead to the "greatest fraud" in the history of the PP.

Along these lines, they have criticized the use of the militants' lists for the benefit of the candidate for reelection or that the organizing committee of the congress is made up, for the most part, of "friends" of Pérez.

These "irregularities" have been brought to the attention of both the Andalusian PP guarantee committee and its highest body in the national PP, without ruling out other avenues.
