AOK: Medical workers often affected by Covid-19

Bad Homburg (dpa / lhe) - According to the AOK, medical employees are particularly often affected by Covid-19 in Hesse.

Last year, 5.2 percent of those insured with AOK who are employed in this professional group were on sick leave in connection with Covid-19.

Teachers were also unable to work due to corona, at 5.1 percent.

According to the AOK, the proportion was also high among employees in occupational therapy (4.6 percent) or in geriatric care (4.4 percent).

Employees in agriculture (0.7 percent) or teachers and researchers at a university (0.9 percent) were rarely affected.
