Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The traditional spring festival on the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart will probably also be canceled this year due to corona.
The city administration recommended that the festival be canceled in the planned period from April 17th to May 9th.
This emerges from a submission by the administration to the Committee on Economy and Housing, which was disseminated on Tuesday.
The committee will therefore deal with the topic again at its next meeting on March 19.
“However, we want to consult with showmen, market merchants and restaurateurs again in mid-April whether the spring festival could take place at a later time between mid-May and mid-June in accordance with the then applicable Corona regulation and subject to hygiene requirements in a light version with outdoor catering », Said Mayor Frank Nopper (CDU).
