Berlin / Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - In Saxony-Anhalt, the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants has increased further within seven days, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
The value was 107.8 on Monday morning after 103 on Sunday.
The 100 mark was exceeded again after more than a month with lower values at the weekend.
In a nationwide comparison, only the neighboring states of Thuringia and Saxony have, according to the information, even higher seven-day incidences than Saxony-Anhalt.
Within one day, the health authorities in Saxony-Anhalt reported 294 new corona infections to the RKI.
Nationwide there were 6604 new corona infections within one day and thus 1593 more than a week ago.
The seven-day incidence nationwide was 82.9.
The data reflect the status of the RKI dashboard from 6.30 a.m., subsequent changes or additions are possible.
