State election 2016: results in Baden-Württemberg

In the last state election on March 13, 2016, the Greens were the strongest party with 30.3 percent, ahead of their future coalition partner, the CDU, 27.0 percent.

The AfD came to 15.1 percent, the SPD to 12.7 percent and the FDP to 8.3 percent.

The left clearly missed the leap into the state parliament with 2.9 percent.

The other parties together achieved 3.7 percent.

The turnout was 70.4 percent, an increase of 4.1 percent compared to 2011.

In the past legislative period, the Greens had 47 seats, the CDU 42, the AfD 23, the SPD 19 and the FDP twelve.
