Hamburg (AP) - SC Paderborn has stopped the successful streak of FC St. Pauli in the 2nd Bundesliga.

At the end of the 25th match day, the East Westphalia deservedly won 2-0 (1-0) in Hamburg on Monday evening and celebrated their first victory after three games.

The Hanseatic League, on the other hand, suffered their first defeat after five successes and one draw.

Chris Führich brought the guests into the lead in the seventh minute.

The rescue attempt by St. Pauli captain James Lawrence was of no use anymore.

Paderborn's captain Sebastian Schonlau (69th) made the success perfect.

With the victory at Millerntor, the Paderborn team improved to ninth place in the table with 34 points and, with an eleven point lead over relegation relegation place, almost eliminated the remaining doubts about remaining in the class.

FC St. Pauli (32 points) also has little to worry about as eleventh in the table and nine points behind the danger zone.
