Region Jämtland Härjedalen pauses the appointment for vaccines due to lack of vaccines

Those who have already booked an appointment to be vaccinated in week 11 will still be able to take the syringe at the appointed time.

But until Thursday, you can not book an appointment for vaccination.

- We only offer times when we know that we have a vaccine to prevent cancellations and right now we do not have doses so that it is enough to meet the large demand, says Sara Nilsson, communications manager at Region Jämtland Härjedalen.

More deliveries are expected

This week, the region is expected to receive 5,040 vaccine doses delivered.

These are 2,340 doses of Pfizer's vaccine, 1,900 doses of Astra Zeneca's vaccine and 800 doses of Moderna's vaccine.

Bookings are expected to start again on Thursday.

- We will offer times as soon as we have more vaccines in stock.

Everything is used and we do not waste it, says Sara Nilsson.
