- In recent weeks, we have received several calls from various customers who wonder why their invoices have been raised.

Customers claim that they have been called by a partner to us who would lower the price, something that is simply not true because we do not have any partners, says Per Magnusson who is product manager for electricity at Falu energy and water.

The approach used by the sellers is to get the customer to sign a so-called power of attorney to conclude an agreement between 24 and 36 months.

- The electricity bill always comes afterwards, so it may be that you do not discover that something is not right before it is too late.

If the customer has signed up and it has not been discovered in time, the customer is stuck in this.

Which customers are affected?

- The people are often young, older or with certain language difficulties who have difficulty understanding this with electricity contracts.

These blacklisted companies have no idea what the customer is actually paying for, they are just pushing for them to do it cheaper.

The problem is that it does not become cheaper but more expensive by companies imposing unnecessary fees on invoices.
