President Moon Jae-in and his wife decided to get the AstraZeneca vaccine next Tuesday ahead of their overseas tour.
In order to eliminate anxiety about the vaccine, the Blue House said that it means that people over 65 should be vaccinated first.

President Moon Jae-in and Mrs. Kim Jung-suk's vaccination date will be on the 23rd, the day when AstraZeneca vaccination for 65 years of age or older will begin.
President Moon is 68 years old, and Mrs. Kim is 66 years old.

The Blue House explained that it was a message that it was safe to get the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The quarantine authorities have decided to receive a separate application for vaccination in case of a special purpose departure such as a foreign business trip for public service.
An official from the Blue House said, "According to this departure procedure, we have more than 10 days to spare, but we decided to inoculate on the first day of vaccination over 65 years old."
The Blue House added that the presidential couple and employees who are required to visit the tour will also be vaccinated.
