Calbe (dpa / sa) - A dog that was not on a leash injured a young person in the Salzlandkreis and killed a Chihuahua.
The 14-year-old was walking with a twelve-year-old child and two dogs in Calbe on Sunday, as the police in Bernburg announced on Monday.
Three dogs running free came up to the group.
One of the animals attacked the 14-year-old's dog.
When she tried to help her Chihuahua, she was reportedly injured in the hand.
The teenager had to be treated in a clinic.
According to the police, the 62-year-old owner of the dogs running freely is being investigated for negligent bodily harm.
