Potsdam (dpa) - The currently interrupted 2020/21 season will not be played regularly in the divisions of the Brandenburg State Football Association (FLB) due to the corona pandemic.
This was decided by the board of directors of the FLB in its meeting on Monday.
If possible, the season should end after the first half series has taken place.
The promotion and relegation regulations remain unaffected.
The regulation applies to all age and game classes of the FLB including its football circles.
The board decided that cup competitions should be completed as far as possible.
"We have to wait for the political decisions in the coming week," said managing director Anne Engel with a view to the Prime Minister's Conference on March 22nd.
"In this way we can prepare for further scenarios - which can mean ending the first half of the season, but also terminating it."
