It was the bus driver who felt that gas was leaking in the bus and alerted the rescue service.
It was then about half past eight on Monday night.
- We managed to close the leak fairly quickly, but still chose to block off the square, says Bosse Florell, alarm and control operator at the Rescue Service in Greater Gothenburg.
The police were also alerted to the scene to assist the rescue service and experts from the bus company.
- We now perform measurements, but there should be no danger to the public, says Bosse Florell.
