"Tested positive for Covid-19, I will continue to perform my duties remotely," the Minister of Labor, Elisabeth Borne, announced on Sunday on her Twitter account.

"Despite some symptoms, I am doing well," said the member of the government.

Aged 59, this former engineer is due to co-host the third social dialogue conference with Jean Castex and Bruno Le Maire on Monday, which will bring together the executive with the social partners by videoconference.

This conference must in particular define a method to prepare for the gradual lifting of health restrictions and measures to support the economy, in a still very uncertain context.

Like Bruno Le Maire or Emmanuel Macron, themselves tested positive for Covid-19 in recent months, the Minister of Labor should therefore continue her activities.
