Kelsterbach (dpa / lhe) - Manfred Ockel was able to defend his mayor's office in Kelsterbach.
The SPD politician got the most votes in the election on Sunday with 54.5 percent.
The candidate of the CDU, Frank Wiegand, was able to gather around 19.4 percent of the voters behind him, Christian Hufgard from the Kelsterbach voter initiative came up with 16.9 percent.
Idriz Koustar (Free Voters) ended up in fourth place with 9.2 percent.
The turnout in Kelsterbach (Groß-Gerau district) was 51.59 percent on Sunday.
