Stuttgart (AP) - Baden-Württemberg's CDU top candidate Susanne Eisenmann also suffered a bitter defeat in her Stuttgart constituency.
According to the state capital, the Minister of Education only came to 21.7 percent.
With this she did not manage to steal the direct mandate in the constituency of Stuttgart II from her cabinet colleague Winfried Hermann (Greens).
The Baden-Wuerttemberg transport minister expanded his result from five years ago (37.2 percent) and prevailed with 39.8 percent of the vote.
