Dubai Health reduces the service of premarital examinations to 3 steps

The Dubai Health Authority announced the transformation of its medical service for prenuptial examinations into electronic services, and the steps to complete the service were reduced to 3 steps instead of 12, the number of documents required from 6 to only one document, and medical visits to centers or homes that took place from 3 to one visit Then, the examination certificate is issued electronically.

All this through a joint smart electronic platform between the authority and Dubai courts.

This came in cooperation and partnership with Dubai Courts, and within the framework of a memorandum of understanding that was signed today (online) between the authority and the courts, where the agreement was signed by the Executive Director of the Cases Management Sector in Dubai Courts, Muhammad Al-Obaidly, and the Executive Director of the Primary Health Care Sector, Dr. Manal Mohammed. Taryam, in the presence of Director of Customer Happiness Abdullah Al-Rayes, Head of Personal Status Services Department Muhammad Al-Janahi, Director of Primary Health Care Centers Dr. Hanan Al-Hammadi, Consultant Family Medicine and Head of Department of Specialized Clinics Dr. Suad Hashem.

According to the memorandum of understanding, the two parties agreed to work together towards automating the pre-marriage examination certificate after the electronic linking process so that the results are shared between the two parties so that the examination certificate is electronic, in line with the Dubai Paperless Transactions Strategy, in cooperation with the Dubai Smart Government, while the two parties stressed the importance of Availability of a certificate of prenuptial examination in the agreed linkage form.

The authority and the courts have also agreed to study the possibility of electronic connectivity with the Dubai Smart Government, in order to facilitate the completion of the marriage contract procedures.

The agreement included several items, the most important of which is strengthening cooperation and partnership between them, each in their respective fields of competence, and in line with the legislation, procedures and systems in force in each party, developing joint operations and services to improve the customer journey, enhancing the quality of life indicator, supporting creative skills in the field of this memorandum through positive partnership Between the two parties, cooperation in the field of electronic connectivity between the two sides.

After the signing, Dr. Manal Tarim said that the authority is keen to provide quality medical services in the best technical and smart methods and means, especially the services it provides in primary health care centers, within a variety of specialties.

She stated that the pre-marital screening service is one of the most important services that the authority is working to develop continuously, stressing that cooperation with Dubai Courts as a strategic partner to raise the level of this service represents an additional important step in the interest of those who are about to get married, especially as the memorandum of understanding stipulates its content. By simplifying all procedures and facilitating the steps for obtaining the examination certificate, which will be electronic.

For his part, the Executive Director of the Cases Management Sector in Dubai Courts indicated that this agreement comes within the efforts of the Dubai Courts to achieve the directions of the wise leadership in establishing a smart platform between government agencies and institutions to provide their services in a coherent and integrated manner, in line with the future vision of the Emirate of Dubai in the field Digital transformation, in addition to strengthening cooperation and partnership between the two parties in ending the pre-marriage examination, so that the marriage examination certificate is electronic, and from the two parties ’keenness to achieve Dubai's vision of making Dubai the smartest, most efficient and integrated city in the world in terms of linking government services provided to customers, and from the department’s keenness to enhance For its continuous efforts to provide the best electronic and smart services to its partners and customers.
