Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The trades in the southwest and the entrepreneurs of Baden-Württemberg are now expecting quick talks about the future government after the state elections.

"The country cannot afford lengthy negotiations and tactical games, we need a government capable of acting and a powerful parliament," demanded the President of the Crafts Day, Rainer Reichhold, on Sunday evening.

"The new government must get out of the corona crisis mode and act decisively," he emphasized.

You need growth impulses.

The President of Entrepreneurs Baden-Württemberg, Rainer Dulger, made a similar statement.

“Out of responsibility for the country, the motto must now be: Get out of the election campaign mode, into the design mode,” he said.

It is not a policy of the lowest common denominator that is required, but one that meets the enormous challenges.

Companies need the right framework to get out of the pandemic with momentum.

The German Trade Union Federation, on the other hand, expects the next state government to combine social and ecological issues more closely.

"The pressing issues of structural change and job security, as well as climate and environmental protection must be promoted," said country manager Martin Kunzmann.

"With a clever policy that shapes and invests, the social context is strengthened."
