Leverkusen (dpa) - Arminia Bielefeld has shaken up the table cellar with the first victory under the new coach Frank Kramer, Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, simply cannot find the way out of the crisis.

The newcomer from East Westphalia won 2-1 (1-0) in the Champions League aspirants in the Rhineland on Sunday thanks to two Japanese.

As a result, Arminia passed the relegation place one point ahead to Hertha BSC, pushed FSV Mainz 05 back to relegation rank and pulled level with 1. FC Köln to 14th place.

For Bielefeld it was the first victory after seven games, Kramer was allowed to cheer for the first time in the third attempt.

For Leverkusen, however, the 1-0 win in Mönchengladbach did not seem to be the turning point.

Especially at home, the Leverkusen-based company is developing a real complex;

from the three home games against Mainz, Freiburg and Bielefeld they only got one point.

The Japanese Ritsu Doan had put Arminia in the lead (18th).

Kramer was able to celebrate his first goal as a Bielefeld coach after a waiting time of 197 minutes.

Doan's compatriot Masaya Okugawa, who was brought in in the winter, made the decision with his first Bundesliga goal in the fourth appearance (57th).

Patrik Schick only managed the connection goal (85th).

Bayer coach Peter Bosz initially seemed to have found his team.

In view of seven injuries and the redeeming victory in Mönchengladbach in the previous week, he offered the same starting eleven for the first time in more than a year as in the previous week, after he had not made a single change in Gladbach.

Arminia were back in the starting line-up in the 4-4-2 with captain Fabian Klos, but Leverkusen almost exclusively had the ball.

72 percent possession of the ball was noted after fifteen minutes.

Since Bielefeld was diligently filling in the rooms, Bayer initially only had one chance.

It was, however, a top-class one, but Nadiem Amiri moved miserably from around ten meters.

The guests used their first counterattack as ice cold.

After an opening pass from Manuel Prietl and a cross from Christian Gebauer, Doan pushed the ball into the net with the outside in front of Edmond Tapsoba.

Doan almost raised six minutes later, but Jonathan Tah deflected his free kick from 14 yards into a corner.

Bayer only had a good chance before the break, but Bielefeld goalkeeper Stefan Ortega made a strong save against Demarai Gray (37th).

Bosz put almost everything on one card at the break and brought in Lucas Alario and Leon Bailey for Gray and Kerem Demirbay.

But before the first noteworthy goal chance in the second round it was 0-2 when Okugawa completed a counterattack against a completely dissolved Bayer defensive after Arne Maier opened the ball and Leverkusen's home grown Anderson Lucoqui.

Now Bayer pushed hard, finally with more pressure, but now and then too wildly.
