It will be a boost to the vaccination campaign in New Aquitaine.

On the occasion of a trip to Cars in Haute-Gironde, this Friday, to visit a vaccination center, the prefect of New Aquitaine Fabienne Buccio announced the creation of a large vaccinodrome in the Bordeaux metropolis.

We do not yet know its precise location but the site should be able to accommodate from April 10 1,000 people per day.

In mid-March, in New Aquitaine, nearly 450,000 people received the two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and the two doses were administered to around 250,000 inhabitants.

The latest figures from INSEE show a total regional population of 5,979,778 inhabitants.
