Chemnitz (dpa / sn) - Several fire brigades have been in action since the night to extinguish a burning roof in Schwarzenberg in the Erzgebirge district.
The roof of the empty house on the Brückenberg caught fire around 2:30 a.m., the police said.
The fire brigade had been in action for several hours with a large contingent from 3:30 a.m.
In the morning hours the extinguishing work was about to be completed.
According to the police, Schwarzenberger Straße (B101) has been completely closed since the night.
Personal injuries are initially not known.
The cause of the accident and the amount of property damage still need to be clarified.
