• Censorship Murcia's failure as an antidote to an unlikely motion in Andalusia

  • Congresses: The crisis in the PP of Seville breaks the confidence of the Andalusian PP of Juanma Moreno with the national leadership

Perhaps the Andalusian Government of the Popular Party and Citizens is, as its leaders have not tired of repeating these days, an "oasis of stability" and that its continuity has never (or almost) been in danger.

But the

earthquake

that, with its epicenter in Murcia, has shaken and turned the Spanish political scene upside down, has also been felt in Andalusia.

Beyond the rumor of a motion of censure here like the one that the PSOE of Pedro Sánchez and the team of Inés Arrimadas in Citizens for the Murcia region cooked up, the earthquake has had, and has,

aftershocks

in the Andalusian community that are noticeable in The parties that have been directly involved in the maneuvers that, first, dynamited the coalition government between the PP and Cs in Murcia, then caused the rupture in Madrid and the electoral advancement and, finally, they left Ciudadanos out of the game and saved the executive of Fernando López Miras.

Popular Party

The political upheaval this week has occurred at the same time that in Andalusia the

fight

between the national leadership of Pablo Casado and the regional leadership of Juanma Moreno for the territorial control of the provinces, in the process of congresses and with Seville as the scene of the bloodiest battle.

Although at first -before the motion was deactivated in Murcia- some thought in the Andalusian PP that the national leadership could loosen the

pressure

, the final outcome I have recomposed the figure of the secretary general, Teodoro García Egea, the main battering ram in Casado's strategy of extending his influence to the Andalusian provinces at the expense of Moreno Bonilla and his followers.

In fact, in the national leadership of the PP they believe that García Egea has come out

very reinforced

and that will allow him not only to maintain, but even redouble, the pulse that he maintains in Andalusia and in other communities also in the process of renovation of the structures provincial organic.

Furthermore, sources in Genoa consulted by EL MUNDO confirm that the

strategy

in Andalusia is not going to change the least and that the plan remains the same, that is, to place its candidates in the provincial directorates.

With an agreement with the regional management of Moreno Bonilla, as has happened in Granada, Malaga or Córdoba, or without it, as is happening in Seville.

"There is dialogue", say these sources, between the teams of Casado and Moreno, but another thing is that there is negotiation and, much less, agreement.

So much so that in Seville the war is total between the two candidacies, that of Virginia Pérez, who is endorsed by Casado, and that of Juan Ávila, backed by Moreno and his family, with accusations of

foul play

.

Although the possibility of a third consensus candidacy is not ruled out, the message from Genoa is that "we continue with Virginia."

And that "there is no change" of plans.

In other words, the Andalusian PP continues to be subjected, at least, to the same pressure with a García Egea in front of him who is

grown

after the Murcia episode.

This same Saturday, García Egea has made it clear in Córdoba -where the provincial congress of the PP was held- that the

sole objective

should be to take Casado to La Moncloa and that the PP is "a party from the bottom up," while Moreno pointed out -in theory praising the Cordoba president, Adolfo Molina- that "sometimes you have to give in to win."

PSOE of Andalusia

In the Andalusian PSOE they swear and perjure, despite rumors that point to the contrary, that no

motion of censure

has been concocted

against the executive of Juanma Moreno and that the priority is another.

But they have closely followed all the events and in Susana Díaz's environment they are aware that they could also be affected by the fluttering of the butterfly.

This has been because the failure of the motion in Murcia and, above all, the unexpected advance of the elections in Madrid has displaced Andalusia on the list of

priorities

of the federal leadership of Pedro Sánchez.

Plans for the replacement of Susana Díaz can wait.

Federal executive sources confirm this to this newspaper: "Right now we are focused on Murcia and Madrid" and the renovation in Andalusia "is not an

emergency

."

That does not mean that Ferraz has abandoned his idea of replacing the secretary general of the PSOE-A.

In fact, the same sources insisted that "the decision has been made" and added that the

main

options

continue to be the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, and the mayor of Seville, Juan Espadas.

The choice has not been made, but "they are talking to them," they insisted.

Citizens

The president of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, and her hard core have been the most

affected

by the Murcia earthquake and that may mean some extra oxygen for the leader in Andalusia, Juan Marín, who is highly questioned by a sector of the party and who at the top national did not have too many supporters.

Marín can thus be

strengthened

by the weakness of Arrimadas.

This same Monday faces are seen in a meeting of the forced orange executive, among others, by the Andalusian vice president.

Obstacles to regularize quotas in the PP of Seville

The complaints of irregularities in the process of renewal of the leadership of the PP of Seville do not cease and the candidacy of Juan Ávila - backed by the regional leadership against that of Virginia Pérez who endorses the national leadership - has criticized the obstacles that many militants face. They have found to catch up on their fees, an essential requirement to be able to participate in the congress and vote for the future leadership of the party in the province.

Sources of the candidacy of the mayor of Carmona assure that the payment of the pending fees has been made impossible both in person and by transfer and that a notarial act records that the order came from the management of the PP of Seville, something that they deny since the formation.

This alleged irregularity, like the previous ones, has been placed in the hands of the PP Guarantee Committee.
