Schwerin (dpa / mv) - At the end of the Bundesliga main round, the volleyball players of SSC Palmberg Schwerin put an exclamation mark.
At the title favorites Allianz MTV Stuttgart, coach Felix Koslowski's team surprisingly won 3-0 (25:21, 25:17, 25:21) on Saturday, displacing SC Potsdam from third place.
Schwerin now meets Vilsbiburg or Suhl in the round of the best eighth teams.
The "best-of-three series" begins for the SS on Wednesday with an away game.
The Schwerin women converted their first match ball after the hosts were able to make the third round exciting at the end and in the meantime equalized at 21:21.
In the first set Schwerin had benefited from an 11: 7 lead and could not be taken away from this lead.
The second round was even clearer, in which the Koslowski team was already 11: 3 ahead after a few minutes.
