US Joe Biden's administration has attempted behind-the-scenes contact with North Korea through multiple channels since mid-February, Reuters reported, citing an anonymous US official.
The official said, "Since mid-February, there have been attempts to contact the North Korean government through various channels, including New York (North Korea's representative to the United Nations)."
He added, "We have not received any responses from Pyongyang so far."
The North Korean delegation to the United Nations made no comment, Reuters reported.
