- Today we have received three more reports of blood clots or cerebral haemorrhages in younger people who have received Astra Zeneca's vaccine, says chief physician Sigurd Hortemo at the Norwegian Medicines Agency to NRK.

- We can not say for sure about the connection, but we are investigating the matter carefully.

Sigurd Hortemo urges people under the age of 50 who have been vaccinated during the last 14 days to seek medical attention if they experience feelings of illness or get spots on the skin.

At the same time, he emphasizes that it has not yet been possible to demonstrate any connection between blood clots and coronavina vaccine.

Eleven countries, nine of them in Europe, have paused vaccination with Astra Zeneca's vaccine following reports of blood clots.

Among the countries that have taken a break are Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Austria and Italy.

However, the Medical Products Agency, the European Medicines Agency and the WHO have so far made the same assessment: There is no indication that Astra Zeneca's vaccine causes blood clots.
